Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on 22 November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actor has garnered many accolades for her work in dramas from the past to suspenseful films and adventures. In the age of eight, she starred with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her film debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen on the screen in Just Cause (1995), but her first break occurred through Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters who run away. The Horse Whisperer (1998) Johansson, who plays a teenaged girl with facial disfigurement, received praise from critics. Then she was hailed as the cynical teenager Rebecca In Ghost World.
