Anne Celeste Heche, an American actress who is well-known for her work on television and film in various categories. She won numerous accolades, such as her Daytime Emmy Award for her acting in theater and television. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June. 6 53) was known as an American film actress. She is most well-known for playing Lieutenant Sheba in the period 1978-1979 of the TV series Battlestar Galactica. Her mother is actor June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart's professional career started very early. She acted in her first film when she was just four years old for T is for Tumbleweed. The short film about a subject was considered for nomination to an Oscar award. Mother and daughter spent many hours together in the set, and learning about the business. Lockhart appeared in many episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory, 1972 was her first film. She played the daughter of Joan Crawford in The Sixth Sense, a show on television in 1972. Carpenter claimed it was Anne's initial choice for the part, however, she declined. Anne does not remember being being contacted by John Carpenter nor being offered the role. Perhaps one of her representatives decided to decline the role for her, but without notifying her. Glen Larson chose her initially and then sent her a draft written script. She was to appear on the show Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. She rejected the role initially as the character wasn't that robust. Glen was later able to write a character to her, which featured a strong character called Sheba. The first 25-page script was read by Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. The show ran for a single season. The actress co-starred on Joyride with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
