Ava August, then 14 She performed for an SOLD-OUT crowd of 30,000 spectators who gathered at Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey game. Ava August was recruited and was booked by the Los Angeles Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy, professional soccer and baseball teams and COVID-19, respectively. However, the pandemic forced cancellations of those performances. Ava August was the youngest performer to appear on American Idol's 19th season aged 15. Ava won the coveted gold trophy in the Audition Round. Then, Ava August made it to Genre Round, Duet Round, Showstopper round, Celebrity/Solo Top 16 and the top 10 rounds. America voted Ava into the TOP 10 in the country. Ava August sang on American Idol two originals - Neighbor Boys, and Ghost of You. Ava has also performed an earth-shattering duet with the world-renowned celebrity artist, Josh Groban. Ava August released Daybreak, a critically acclaimed track when she was only fifteen. It was also accompanied by Ava's first animated musical video. On 11/01/20, Daybreak was broadcast in the morning on KX 93.5 FM, along with the The Tropical Surf Hour.
